The Currency Exchanger

God sometimes operate like a currency exchanger. He is a fair God. He will give us something fair in exchange for what we give Him. Moreover, He gives us something more than what we deserve in return for what we give Him. He's the only person who's able to afford to do so, because he decide what the market price is. He is the market taker. He is the market giver. He is the market. He has limitless resources.

What would you get from Him if you offer Him one hour of your time everyday? You get a closer relationship with the King of Kings.

What would you get from Him for each sin that you're giving up for His sake? For the pleasure that you derive from the sin that you're committing, God is going to give you 100 times more pleasure than what the sin is offering you. For the security that you derive from the sin that you're committing, He is going to give you 100 times more security than what sin can offer you.

For the job that you're struggling to give up for His sake, He says "Son, I have a greater job offer for you that offers you much more rewards...up to 100 times of your current salary. Why are you not taking this job offer up?"

For the addiction that you're struggling to give up for His sake(be it food, computer games, sports, relationships, lusts, etc), He says "Son, why are you holding to something that's holding you down from pursuing a deeper relationship with Me? Why are you giving up your blessings so easily to the enemy? Why are you enjoying the temporary pleasures? Can't you be a bit more patient? Can't you trust that I have your best in mind? Do you not trust Me? You don't trust Me, do you? What has gone wrong with your mind? What has gone wrong in your heart? What triggered you to betray your instincts? Why did you not seek My power to break this addiction? Did you intentionally WANT to break this addiction? I know that you've tried...indeed you've tried very hard...you've tried many ways..you've tried by sheer grit determination to put an end to this addiction once for all...However, you've fallen again and again into the same pit! Give it up! Give it up in exchange for what I am going to offer you...remember Me as the God, Your Reward, Your inheritance. You cannot experience the fullness of My life unless you give your addiction in exchange for my fullness. I will give you the fullness of faith, grace, power, spirit and wisdom. All of these, you shall be assured that you will get it. Trust Me."
