Golden Era

Christians are in a world that presents the best opportunity ever since the finishing of the book of Acts. We live in a world that wants to hear personal stories, who wants personal interactions, who wants to belong to a community before they even consider believing in Jesus. And guess what? Because no one has the right or authority to tell others what is the truth (in our very present culture), EVERYONE has the right or authority to share with others what truth really is. And when incarnation of Jesus in our bodies starts to reveal itself, the Truth is seen for who He is.

And hence, the best evangelism method is personal evangelism. This method has not crept up recently, but it is the most dominant and most effective way of reaching this world who's hungering for personal relationships and integration into a community who loves one another deeply.

The world recently has seen the use of mass-evangelism and the 'modernist' method of evangelism, i.e. of presenting facts and beliefs. However, since there is the eradication of the obedience to any sort of authority and the concept of absolute truth, preaching dry theological truths are no longer the best method of reaching our present generation.

Now, it is the golden time for everyone to be involved in personal evangelism. It may not work last time. People of ages ago would think that they need to really learn the historical & biblical facts well before they can share the gospel. However, the prevailing culture around us are now allowing these 'unlearned' people to be a mighty tool of God in bringing the lost back to Him. The key strategy now is to get all God's people to realize this: that they are the very tools that God can reach the people around them. And unless they do it, those around them are DEFINITELY going to perish.
